MODULE THREE AND FOUR
By the end of this module, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the practical strategies and techniques used in the Orton-Gillingham approach, equipping you with the tools to effectively teach reading and spelling to students with dyslexia or reading difficulties.
APPLICATION
Upon successful completion of the practicum, participants will receive a certification acknowledging their completion of the 3-month Orton Gillingham Certification Practicum.

A: Yes, the entire certification course is conducted online. This allows flexibility for participants to access the course materials and complete assignments at their own pace.
A: There are no specific prerequisites for enrolling in the course. However, having a basic understanding of education and experience working with individuals with learning differences is beneficial.
A: The course covers a wide range of topics related to dyslexia, including understanding the nature of dyslexia, assessment and eligibility, intervention strategies, multisensory teaching approaches, accommodations and modifications, and working with students, parents, and other professionals.
A: The course primarily consists of self-paced modules, allowing participants to study at their own convenience. However, there may be occasional live webinars or virtual group discussions for networking and collaborative learning purposes. There is also an add on option for a in-person training and well as quarterly in-person mentoring for an additional cost.
A: Yes, upon successful completion of the dyslexia certification online course and practicum, participants will receive a certificate acknowledging their achievement. The certificate demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of dyslexia and the ability to effectively support and educate individuals with dyslexia using the OG approach.
A: Absolutely! The course instructors will be available to provide support, clarification, and guidance throughout the duration of the course. Participants can reach out to instructors via email, discussion forums, or scheduled virtual office hours.
